Creating the “Design Type Beat” banner for FGCU’s library signage was an exciting challenge that pushed my creativity in motion graphics, typography, and layout design.
DMD at FGCU
The Digital Media Design (DMD) program at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) is a Bachelor of Arts degree that equips students with creative and technical skills for modern design careers. It emphasizes areas like interactive design, animation, motion graphics, UI/UX, video game design, branding, and web development, blending artistic foundations with cutting-edge digital tools. Through hands-on courses, internships, and a senior capstone project, DMD prepares graduates to innovate in a tech-driven world, fostering problem-solving and professional portfolios.
