Paul Nails Chorus, Dives Into 16ths
Paul had a lot to show today! He knocked the full Chorus groove for “What a Beautiful Name” out of the park, along with the verse transition. We also dove into 16ths and how to do trade-offs between the hi-hat and open hi-hat. Keep up the good work, bro!

Paul Nails "What a Beautiful Name" in 6/8
Paul made huge progress today! After nailing "What a Beautiful Name," including the verse groove and bridge building, it's clear 6/8 is a comfortable time signature for him. Next lesson, we'll shift into more practical 4/4 CCM songs like "Praise," "Thank God I'm Free," and others. Keep up the good work, Paul!

Paul killed it today! We finished the last day of the Music Theory walkthrough, covering accent notes on 16ths, quarter note separation, dribble workouts, and metering. Next lesson, we'll focus on mastering 4 new grooves!

You already have a solid grasp of rhythm, meter, time signatures like 4/4, 3/4, and 6/8, and accent notes—plus you even played your own 4/4 groove! Next week, we'll dive into establishing tighter kick patterns and exploring more complex grooves.
